The Montreal Protocol signed on September 16, 1987 is an agreement ratified by more than 190 countries, which has managed to reduce the impact of industrial activity on the environment by progressively eliminating the use of substances that weaken the Ozone Layer, which allows the entry of the most harmful rays of the sun, UV-B, negatively affect all types of life on the planet. The Ministry of Production (PRODUCE) is the Focal Point of the Montreal Protocol in Peru and through the General Directorate of Environmental Affairs for Industry implements the national measures for the correct fulfillment of this agreement. The activities include training technicians from the refrigeration and air conditioning sector in good practices in the use and handling of refrigerants, as well as the import control of refrigerant substances and equipment containing them. The United Nations Development Program and the United Nations Environment Program support the Ministry of Production to achieve the goals established in the Montreal Protocol. It is in this context that OzonoAPP is developed, with the aim that professionals and technicians in the refrigeration and air conditioning technician industry consult in a practical way the values of the pressure and temperature tables of the different refrigerant gases on the market. and which ones are suitable to use without affecting the Ozone Layer, promoting good practices in this sector. Likewise, the application allows you to view news related to the subject, manage a catalog of refrigerant equipment and register for seminars and courses. Likewise, it contains information on the scope of the Montreal Protocol and the procedures for importing controlled refrigerants, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment into Peru. It should be noted that it is the first mobile application developed by a country within the framework of the Montreal Protocol.
